| This Chair will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the Host Community budget. Using a computerized accounting package this volunteer will set up accounts for receivables and payables, as well as produce monthly financial statements for the local Board of Directors and for the BC Games Society office. Considerable background information, such as previous Games budgets and a standard Chart of Accounts will be provided from the BC Games office as reference material. The Budget Chair will need a professional background in accounting Other volunteers in this area will assist with processing the revenues and expenses for the society. |

| Administration volunteers provide several support services to Chairs in other Directorates. Financial controls, insurance, waste management, legal services, food concessions, as well as signs and carpentry volunteers assist other Directors and Chairs in their planning. The hiring and supervision of the local Games office staff is another important function of this Directorate. |

| The purpose of this Chair area is to ensure, where reasonable, that all Games venues have functioning concession stands when competition or other activities occur at those sites. |

| The purpose of this area is to ensure that all Athletes with a Disability competing in the Games are as fully included into the Games. This will include ensuring a suitable environment exists to promote the inclusion process by educating the Games Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, Sport Chairs and the general public. |

| Established approximately five months prior to the Games, this Chair position coordinates a volunteer team to operate the Games switchboard. This person will also ensure the accurate production of a Games telephone directory for use by Games personnel. Volunteers in this area will serve as switchboard operators. |

| This volunteer must have a professional legal background and be prepared to represent the Host Community Board of Directors in any and all legal matters. This person will be asked to incorporate and later dissolve the local Games Society, as well as review any contracts affecting the host society. Other volunteers in this area are likely to also have a professional legal background and will assist with contract reviews. |

| This Chair, who is normally an insurance professional, will set-up an insurance policy to protect the Host Community and BC Games inventory, from fire, theft and other damage. This volunteer will represent the local Board of Directors on all insurance related matters. A General Liability Insurance Policy for all Games participants and volunteers is maintained by the BC Games Society. Other volunteers in this area will serve as intake volunteers and will help to ensure all Games venues and planned activities meet acceptable safety standards. |
