She/he is responsible for ensuring all BC Games venues and events have a Games phone and that the switchboard is set-up and operational. | This Chair assembles the needs of the other Directorates in the areas of communications requirements and researches suppliers, equipment availability and associated costs of renting/leasing equipment. | This area is responsible for establishing routing and bussing athletes to and from their sport venues as well as the operation of a dispatch centre. Drivers are needed must have the appropriate class of drivers' licence to operate a van (class 4) or a bus (class 2). Other volunteers will assist with routing and dispatch. |

| This group of volunteers is responsible for the handling of participants' luggage upon arrival and departure in your community. Volunteers should be in good physical shape and be prepared to work late shifts to accommodate the late hour arrival and departure of chartered aircraft. The Lost & Found section operates the desk to which all lost items are routed and where participants can report lost items or claim found items. |

| This Chair area is responsible for recruiting and managing a shuttle system. Drivers must be cautious and courteous and in some cases, willing to use their own vehicles, if necessary (reimbursement for fuel is generally available). Drivers will transport officials, medical emergencies (non-ambulance cases), and make other special trips. In addition, this Chair area will support the Buses Chair with transportation of teams and groups during the non-competition hours, utilizing courtesy cars, buses, and other vehicles. |
